microcosms is an artists book that investgates the long history of environmental injustice in three of Baltimores neighbourhoods along the patapsco river; Curtis Bay, Brooklyn, and Fairfield. This book is one of an edition of three, and was a result of extensive research and on site investigation, as well as discussion with residents, environmentalists, and many of Blue Water Baltimore’s members and archives. This semester tong project aims to highlight some critical issues within Baltimore's institutions and systems that originated during Baltimore’s foundation and have had a huge impact on these neighbourhoods till date.
